Trifork Amsterdam
DevOps / Cloud Engineer
Software Engineer with a pragmatic mentality, passionate about clean, secure code, provisioning and automation. After having spent over a decade developing at monolithic, client-server applications in statically & dynamically typed languages: Java, JavaScript, Scala and Python, I have switched to operating micro services in production and got involved into systems engineering, as well as the DevOps community. Nowadays, I enjoy building tools that facilitate delivering qualitative software fast, helping both developers and operations. I do this in my role at Trifork Amsterdam, where I work with technologies such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Prometheus, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab CI/CD, NGINX and since recently Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, Flux CD GitOps operator for Kubernetes and Kong Proxy. I also love open-source as it keeps my skills fresh and it helps me become a better communicator.
